Bridge Challenge: Build a
strong bridge that is light in
weight.
Your bridge deck must be at least 10 inches long, and at least two inches wide. There must be an opening in the center big enough for the hook to go through.
You may use paper, string, cardboard, chip board (cereal box), paper, straws, tape, toothpicks, craft (popsicle) sticks, and glue. You have five Bridge Bucks to spend. One Bridge Buck will buy:
One sheet of heavy paper
One piece of chip board (cereal box)
Two larger pieces of corrugated cardboard
Ten corrugated cardboard strips
One chip board bundle
Four heavier chip board scraps
10 craft (popsicle) sticks
10 toothpicks
10 straws
36 inches of string
24 inches of masking tape
